AUDIOLOGIST

Meet Dr. Rose Buchbinder, Au.D., CCC-A

Dr. Rose Buchbinder, Au.D., earned her Doctor of Audiology degree from Rush University in Chicago in 2019, after completing her undergraduate studies at the University of Florida in 2015. She is nationally certified through the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).

Before joining Blossom Hearing Center in 2025, Dr. Buchbinder gained diverse clinical experience working across Colorado, Hawaii, and Maryland. Her approach is rooted in evidence-based practice, with a strong emphasis on compassionate, patient-centered care. She enjoys working with individuals of all ages and has a special interest in audiological and vestibular diagnostics as well as hearing aid fittings. Dr. Buchbinder is an adjunct professor at Carlos Albizu University and an affiliate professor at Loyola University Baltimore, where she teaches acoustics and psychoacoustics and aural rehabilitation. She enjoys humanitarian audiology and has traveled to Guatemala and Zambia to provide hearing care.

Dr. Buchbinder was drawn to audiology after witnessing firsthand how hearing aids transformed her father’s ability to connect with others—an experience that left a lasting impact. Combined with her passion for linguistics, science, and helping people, it led her to this field. Outside of the clinic, you’ll likely find her hiking on a trail, camping, or performing improv comedy.
